Infrastructure & Networking Engineer – DNS Focus

As an Infrastructure & Networking Engineer, you are expected to have a strong understanding of core internet protocols, with a particular focus on DNS (Domain Name System). This role is critical for ensuring that all internal and external services are reliably accessible and properly routed.

Roles & Responsibilities

DNS Configuration & Maintenance: Set up and manage DNS servers to ensure seamless domain resolution.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve domain resolution issues across internal and external networks.
High Availability: Implement techniques like Anycast and DNS round-robin to ensure reliability and scalability.
DNS Security: Apply security mechanisms such as DNSSEC to protect against spoofing and attacks.
Network Reliability: Monitor and maintain network services to ensure continuous accessibility of applications and systems.

Skills & Knowledge Required

Deep understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, and core internet protocols
Experience in network infrastructure design and troubleshooting
Familiarity with DNS high-availability strategies and security best practices
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
